The Petrochemical Complex is part of the downstream petrochemical production units which produces a wide range of petrochemicals, including expansion to various derivatives and specialty chemicals.
It comprises of a polymer production unit and a derivative production unit. The complex sources feedstock mostly from the Refinery and Steam Cracker Complex.
The Petrochemical Complex has a nameplate capacity to produce 3.3 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of petrochemical products.
- The Polymer complex produces polymer resins namely; Polypropylene (PP), Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) and High Density Polyethylene (HDPE).
- The Glycols complex produces Mono Ethlylene Glycol (MEG) and Diethylene Glycol (DEG).
